Chicago North/South Milwaukee Field Marketing Representative | Creative Channel Services | Milwaukee, WI
The Field Marketing Representative position is a home based position
that requires visits to retail stores to manage a particular brand of
Home Appliances. This person will be out visiting various retail stores
in the Chicago North area, making sure the products are merchandised
correctly, store staff is up to date on the product and the brand is
represented correctly.
This is not a commission sales position, rather a brand management
position. We are looking for someone who can be creative with ideas on
how to drive the sales, thinks outside of the box and enjoys being out
in the field.
The candidate best suited for this position will have an active interest
in consumer electronics and home appliance knowledge.
This is an ideal position for a highly motivated, sales and relationship
driven individual who likes the responsibility and autonomy to manage
their assigned territory to success. The right individual will manage a
group of relevant retail store fronts in the Home Appliance space to
drive sales and increase brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Ability to motivate sales
- Ability to establish, retain and grow strong relationships
- Ability to drive brand awareness and increase market share
- Travel daily within assigned territory
- Distribute sales, training and marketing literature/collateral
- Conduct training as needed to support sales efforts of retail teams
- Maintain a consistent store visit schedule
- Ensure assigned products are presented in line with defined
expectations
- Product is properly positioned, priced, clean, all signage in place
and POP is compliant
- Collect and report information on competitive products and service
offerings for CCS clients.
- Identify growth opportunities for CCS client's sales &
marketing.
- Identify and report on competitive strengths and weaknesses.
Requirements
- Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
- Strong presentation abilities with experience in delivering
training presentations
- Thorough understanding of Home Appliance products and retail
operations
- Thorough understanding of retail sales, merchandising, sales
motivators, and marketing
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate (including Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% outside of territory
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Must have Internet and email access and a working PC Access to high
speed internet access required
- Must have own insured vehicle in good working condition to travel
within territory
- Experience in a sales leadership role is highly desired Experience
in "big box" retail is also highly desired
Territory Chicago North Territory plus visits to Davenport, IA and Cedar
Rapids, IA Compensation Field Marketing Representatives are eligible for
monthly auto, expense account, office allowance, medical and dental
benefits, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation and sick time.
